I love road trips with Kyle - sometimes harder to do, due to time, but it's always a good time to talk and just ride in the car holding hands. (remember doing that when we all were dating - how often do you do that now???) I love the idea of doing something that you would not like to do on a date, but that your significant other deos!
Although movies are not the best choice for date night - due to the fact that there is no conversation or interaction with eachother - - I really want to put a shout out for the movie FIREPROOF. We saw this a few weeks ago, and found it to be such a phenomenal movie. What applies to every marriage is the redemption of care & respect for the other person in the relationship. We went out for coffee/dessert afterwards and really had some great conversation! Even through the week, we could talk about some of the analogies and parts of the movie. It was so well done, and no matter where people are in their marriage - it is worth seeing this movie. It has been YEARS since we went to the theater for a movie, so that was a special treat too!
